Mark Ryan

Managing Director and Director of Emerging Technologies

Mr. Ryan has over 30 years of continued success in building and managing companies. He has grown several companies from Concept to greater than $100 million in annual sales within various industries. His experience during his professional career include leadership in many enterprises and in managing various functional areas including accounting/finance, operations, marketing, sales, product development and engineering. Mr. Ryan spent the early part of his career with major corporations, including Hughes Electronics, a large military electronics company, and Parker Hannifin Corp., a large industrial manufacturing company. Mr. Ryan is a PhD Candidate in Technology Management and holds a Master of Engineering from Portland State University, Bachelor of Science in Finance and Accounting from Oregon State University and has post graduate studies in Business Administration.

Summary: Extensive engineering background, Co-inventor of the LTPC Prime Mover, entrepreneur, business management and accounting, venture capital funding, resource acquisition, LEED AP, Obtained a Platinum LEED certification, as well as national and international industrial referral base. Particular expertise in developing start-up enterprises. Has taken several companies from start-up to greater than $100 million of annual revenue.

Dr. Todd Stevens

Dr. Stevens has over 20 years of technology development, technical management, and consulting experience in the renewable energy, fuel cell, and semiconductor industries. In previous roles as Vice President of Engineering at Neah Power and Senior Project Engineer at Mesoscopic Devices, he developed portable direct methanol fuel cell generators. In addition, Dr. Stevens has system design and integration experience with solid oxide and high temperature PEM fuel cell systems and has developed specialized thermal and fluidic balance of plant components. As Director of Research and Development at Synetics Solutions, he developed a profitable chemical filtration business unit, as well as a novel in-situ wafer surface scanner. As a technical consultant, Dr. Stevens has contributed to projects across a range of alternative energy technologies, including fuel cells and fuel processors, wind power, micro-hydropower, and biomass/biofuels. Dr. Stevens holds a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from University of Maine, and a Masters and Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering from Clarkson University, where he characterized advanced solar materials as a NASA fellow.

Summary: Passionate about alternative energy and efficiency, Dr. Stevens’ interests include innovative combined heat and power systems, development of high-efficiency balance of plant components, and system integration and optimization. Twenty years of technology development, technical management, and consulting experience in the renewable energy, fuel cell, and semiconductor industries. System design and integration experience with specialized thermal and fluidic balance of plant components.

Cullen Ryan

Mr. Ryan has several years of industrial energy project experience in controls and automation, sustainable practices, grid-level battery storage, and hybridized energy systems through two energy-industry leading companies. As Applications Engineer at Leviton and Construction Manager and Field Operations Engineer for Powin Energy, Mr. Ryan’s advanced knowledge of system design improvement and commissioning, chemical/electrical energy storage, and custom creation of design process tools brings autonomous project oversight expertise into the realm of large energy projects. With a Bachelor’s in Renewable Energy Engineering and subsequent Master’s in Global Energy Management, Mr. Ryan provides strategic partnership opportunities and extensive background in the implementation of various new commercially available technologies for utilization in ITerum™ project solutions, leading him to be the proper fit for ITerum’s management team.

Summary: Renewable Energy Engineer and Master of Global Energy Management. Experience in the sustainable practices, grid-level battery storage, and hybridized energy systems. Expertise in determining strategic partnerships and commissioning of technologies for utilization in ITerum™ project solutions. 


DIRECTOR OF OPERATIONS

Oussama Laraichi

Mr. Laraichi has gathered a significant international experience in the past 10 years. His engineering and computer science background has led him to leadership positions in major companies. He has managed the development and implementation of cutting-edge ERP solutions for one of the leading automotive companies in Europe, PSA Peugeot Citroen, which assisted in its outstanding economic comeback. With his experience in lean supply chain management. Mr. Laraichi has developed strong expertise in procurement, production, delivery and maintenance optimization. Through, Mr. Laraichi’s leadership experiences he has a strong project, program and budget management background. Mr. Laraichi is completing a PhD in Technology Management from Portland State University, holds a Master of Science in Information Systems Management and a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from the University of Bordeaux, France.

Summary: Experience in three different continents. Built a rich professional background in different industries managing customized Information System projects with international implementation. Passionate about Technology and Sustainability, Contributes to IEEE conferences both as author and reviewer. Has a particular interest for International Relations which is found in his high ethical, communication and language skills.
